Who We Are

The Chinese Children's home & Shelter Association (CCSA) is a non-profit organization in Taiwan that provides care and support for out-of-home care and vulnerable children. We strive to foster healthy growth and positive development by building a strong, integrated network of services and resources.

Since our founding in 2002, CCSA has believed that education flourishes in an environment of love and care. We are committed to providing comprehensive support for children and youths in residential care across Taiwan.

Each year, CCSA serves more than 10,000 children and youths by providing accommodations, physical and mental health support, financial assistance for education and employment, psychological counseling, and resource referrals. Our goal is to promote independence, resilience, and long-term well-being—for both individuals and the communities they belong to.

Mission

To care for children and youths without home-based support, and to foster healthy growth and positive development through a strong network of resources and services.

Vision

To be a trusted and enduring support system for children and youths in care, serving as their central hub for resources and services.

Values

We are committed to breaking the intergenerational cycle of poverty, violence, and neglect that often affects children without stable homes. Through advocacy and direct service, we help children and youths achieve stability and pursue positive life paths.

Our role is to provide education, guidance, and practical tools that empower underprivileged children to transform their futures—and, in turn, create lasting change for generations to come.
